Dan Motill
" A Man About Towns "
I want to thank you for visiting this Web Site and I hope you enjoyed the brief visit to the Finger Lakes Region of New York. While I am blessed to live in such a beautiful place and I use these surroundings as models for paintings, the light and lively nature of the images are universal.
In many cases, the fundamental work I perform is to restore and document institutions as they were at some point in history. And my tools, American Primitive Art, allow me to record scenes without the distortion that results from artistic pretense.
The finished pictures are supplied in two sizes along with standard frame and mat options. All images are protected with glass and all frames are identified with a Brass Plate. The backs are kraft paper sealed with wall protecting bumpers.
A layer of mat separate the reproduction from the glass. Standard mat colors are:
Other colors are available with special orders.
Polished Mahogany frames (with black edge) are standard.
